For the next 5 months, my team and I will be working on our capstone project. This will be an attempt to catalog and talk about my work on a daily basis. Here we go.
Today was a slow day with progress. We are in the process of getting our feature list approved. So, part of my day has been spent making edits to the document and resubmitting it for approval. Overall, this has been a great experience, tedious but great. As a team, we have unified our vision on the project by having to make these edits and we now have a much stronger feature list than when we started.
The other major task for today has been breaking down the feature list into tasks and creating Trello cards for our team to grab and use. The cards are just about there and we will be having a discussion tonight on who is going to take ownership of which card and how we are going to break out the tasks for each person.
We have a lot of work ahead of us before our code freeze on Monday. Right now this early in the project we are excited and motivated, but this milestone is going to be a lot of work and I have a feeling we are going to be working hard right until the code freeze goes into effect.
